Eras Adventures 3D Mobile, Android game

The Background
Eras Adventures 3D is a 3D platform game for Android devices, developed and designed by a small, indie developer team and probably the gameplay and the graphics of the game aren’t as great as the games of big game studios, but the team tried to end up with a game with relatively nice graphics and fun gameplay.
Currently the game has 15 levels which will be extended in the future, but due to the limited resource capacity of the developer team, this process is quite slow, but the next 15 levels are coming
soon.

The Story
The game is about Era, a quite blue dinosaur who has to solve different kind of logical puzzles through several adventures. In the first chapter of the story (first 15 levels) Era is trapped into an arena and the only way out is to find all the chests hidden on the levels which contains the keys needed for opening the doors of the arena. Passing the levels can be achieved if Era founds all the chests (on each level there are three chests) and the exit door.

The Gameplay
As I mentioned before, the goal of the game is to find the hidden chests on the scene containing the needed keys whiting a given time which depends on the complexity of the level. Usually finding the
chests is pretty easy, especially in the first few levels because an orange arrow will guide the play to the chest. If somebody likes the challenges and want’s to explore the world of Era, there is an option in the Settings screen to disable the guidance / helper arrow and doing so the chests became hidden and there will be no help for showing the right direction.

There are also some chests on the levels which are really hidden no matter if the guiding arrow is shown or not. These chests contain extra speed or extra time rather than the needed keys. Finding
the bonus chests can be crucial on some levels and it’s better to find all of them. But be aware because some bonus speeds can be dangerous if the chests are hidden on a narrow bridge.

The Controls
Eras Adventures 3D can be controlled using physical joystick (like in case of Xperia Play or Ouya) or virtual dynamic joystick (like on usual Android devices). The virtual dynamic joystick allows to the player to move the position of the joystick to any position of the screen, however it is a bit strange to get used to how to control Era. However after a few level of practice it can be learned.

The Scoring & Global Ranking
Each level has to be completed within a given time otherwise Era will remain trapped in the arena. The main score received after completing the level is calculated based on the time left after
finding all the needed chests and the exit door and on the collected bonuses and extras. Extra points can be collected by destroying the objects on the level. There are some objects which can be destroyed by one shot and there are some which are difficult to destroy.

Requirements
The game can be played in two different quality settings: Disabled extra graphics or enabled extra graphics. By disabling the extra graphics the game engine will hide all the trees and unnecessary objects from the world and it will also affect the 3D model of Era. It’s highly recommended to disable the extra graphics in case of lag.

The minimum hardware specification is 512 MB of RAM and 800 MHz CPU.
The recommended requirements are 1GB of RAM, 1 GHz CPU and NVidia Tegra 3 GPU.

Remarks
Installing the game is recommended via Google Play Store using Wi-Fi connection due to the big size of the expansion file. During the installation the extra files and graphics data will be stored on the SD card (or on the emulated SD card in case of tablets) and because of this the game cannot be launched or played while the device is connected to computer or the SD card in the device
is not ready.
