Following a small, but successful Indiegogo campaign in 2013, in 2014 we released ePic Character Generator originally on our website with a handful of packs. It quickly became a loved solution for role-players and game developers alike, so we continued to expand the selection of available packs as well as the features in our software.
In 2015, we made a big step forward and reworked the UI completely, released Season #2 with lots of new features and the ability to mix & match packages, as well as took the software to Steam following a successful Greenlight campaign.
In 2018, we released the software on Google Play, making it easier to create character images during live role-playing sessions.
We also wanted to get closer and make it easier for game creators to make assets for their games. We already have a selection of games using characters generated by our software, but we felt it'd be better to connect with these people directly, so we made our tool available on itch.io too.
