Hi, Enigma Prison fans

I would like to give some updates to you guys about the development of the game.

I had to pause the development to take care of health problems, but since the beginning of 2018 have returned gradually developing the game. There are already about three months that I am working full time, dedicated to finishing the game.

Since I started developing the game there was a giant technological leap and I knew that one of the things I needed to do was keep up with that change.

Enigma Prison is currently running on the latest stable release of Unreal Engine 4, this has allowed me to make great graphical improvements and optimizations.

The light changed from a precalculated system to a fully dynamic. This brought much more quality, much less memory usage and the download size has drastically reduced.

I explored most modern techniques of modeling and texturing and redid all models and textures of the game.

I'm working on various gameplay adjustments that were completely out of place that is making the game much more enjoyable to play.

Since I’m not a programmer, I called the version of the game that I released years ago a “beta”, when in fact it was a pre-alpha version very far from the final version of the game. Because this is my first game I still do not have many methodologies so I'm exposed to mistakes of this type.

I'm focused on finalizing the game and for this, I decided that some things I should give up and remove from the game, even temporarily, to make the development viable; such as maintaining an updated demo. That sounds like a simple detail, but keeping a demo is like developing two games at the same time, and that was weighing heavily on my workflow. I now have a problem that is a very outdated demo that I shouldn’t keep the way it is for the launch of the game and I can’t just remove it... Well, but that's something I'll think later since I have much work to do.
I will not again make the mistake of promising a release date, but I'll do my best to close it in 2019.

I'll leave you with some screenshots and thanks for your patience.
