Description

Atmospheric horror shooter, which can be played solo or with a friend in couch co-op mode. Game is coming to Steam early access on February 10!

History

Game began as a prototype for a full-on story-oriented adventure game, that we pitched and applied for a grant with. While we were not able to get the grant, we figured that we already have enough design made that could serve as a basis for a whole new game.

To cut costs, we decided to create Enemy Remains as an action title, instead of a story heavy game with cinematics, in-game cutscenes and voiced dialogue, like we had originally planned. We got an environment artist and a character artist on board in early 2020, and that's when the development on this title began full-time.

The game is set in the same world as our previous title Kalaban (2016), and many of the designs are an evolutionary step from that game. We also continue the overall quest to bring down the evil cult and its forces of darkness!
