Description
Ekron is an online co-op resource manager where you and your friends play as different protagonists, each with their own rich backgrond but all with a common goal: escape the dystopic metropolis and find happiness in Ekron. Will you be able to help our protagonists survive all challenges they face?
History
Our team was randomly arranged in Apple Developer Academy. There we use Challenged Based Learning to develop possible solutions for a Big Idea, usually focused on a real world problem.
Our Big Idea was "Refugees". Everybody in the team was highly interested in developing a game, therefore we had the idea to create a game to help raise awareness of the problems refugees have to face.
In a brainstorming session we got to define the game main mechanic, and we based ourselves on real stories to create the universe of Ekron.

Nosso time foi criado aleatoriamente na Apple Developer Academy. Lá utilizamos Challenge Based Learning para desenvolver possíveis soluções voltadas para uma Big Idea, focada em um problema do mundo real.
Nossa Big Idea foi "refugiados". Como todos da equipe tinha interesse em desenvolver um jogo, tivemos a ideia de criar um jogo que pudesse dar mais visibilidade aos problemas enfrentados por refugiados.
Durante um brainstorming conseguimos definir as mecânicas do jogo, e com base em histórias reais criamos todo o universo de Ekron.
