how do you play Thread - Edge Of Space

I started a world and its super choppy like I cant tell which direction im moving when pressing wsad because of the framerate and the graphics (sorry if this seems like an insult). when I find some piece of land I click everything and can't get anything to happen....all it seems is I can move the camera around and look at stuff and there is a menu of buttons that do nothing....I'm confused I must be doing something wrong....is this game actually totally broken and unplayable?

Hey Jason, in the launcher there is a tab called BETA GUIDE. This links to a set up video as well as general instructions

yeah it opens a video in not-my-browser, with right click disabled, so when the video doesn't work, as expected, I can't find the link to the bloody video.

I like to play for a while with out looking anything up, the less i know about a game the more i enjoy it. In EoS i start out mineing a veriaty of ores. I do not break any ores down unless i know im going to use it right away for i have not figured out if there is extra storage yet. I get my power up and some lights made up in invatory.
I like to flaten my surroundings and square off every thing till i know what im going to build.I then Creat my base and start tunnels branching away for safer travel to mineing location or other projects. All the while laying generators for power along the way. I have not figured out mobs and drops yet, But it seems they got hardder to kill the further away i got even thou they where the same mobs by my base. Then again theres times ill one shot a mob and other times i have to reload 3 times.
O yea make a Arc gun for quick lighting. Other then that atm i mostly build infrastructure but im sure that will change. I also only get about a day out of a world do to update and bugs but that to be expected in a real Beta.
Thats how i play but if you ment how to get it started to play its already been said above . have fun.
