After over a year of development, I'm happy to announce that I've published the Steam page for Earth's Greatest Defender!
The plan for the game has remained the same since day one. It has always been a game about shooting aliens in the most badass way possible with the help of your trusty grappling hook. The more explosions and particles, the better.
I'm hoping to open the game to early access this summer, and keep iterating based on user feedback. It is already available for web at egd.tap2play.io, along with standalone builds, but is not expected to be stable just yet. Much is still subject to change but if the game sounds like something you'd enjoy, give it a try and submit your feedback!
Lately my focus has been to polish the enemies' AI and create a fun campaign. Hopefully I can share some of that pixelated mess soon.
The game will be free on Steam and itch.io. The goal is to provide a fun experience for everyone, and have many community made creations rather than paying my bills.
