A cross between creativity, horror, and adventure, Dwell aims to be an ORPG like no other. Settle, create a village, and defend your friends from the horrible creatures who lurk in the forests. You can change the landscape, farm, or hunt in order to survive the conditions-- it's all up to you.

I just implemented the minimap!

The higher your eye stat, the more you can see on it. So far, here are the level requirements:

See Clay Nodes (3)
See Animals (5)
See Other Players (10)

You can level up your eye stat by eating some fish or other eye-enhancing foods like carrots. There is a 1/50 chance to level up your body stats every time you eat basic foods (meats/complex foods have a 1/10 chance and berries/foragables have a 1/100 chance). Each food has a different stat that it specializes in. Meats usually increase your muscle stat, fish increase brain and eye stats depending on the species, and healthy grains will usually increase your heart stat.

I know it seems like I'm the only guy who comments, but I got a quick question. Is there going to be a mechanic in the game that won't allow you to eat all the time? Like making you fat (slower speed and stamina) or just a cool down period before you can "eat" again?

There's a hunger bar as you've probably seen (in the upper left hand corner). Once it's full, you can't eat any more. If you happen to eat something that's really filling (ex. meat) while your bar is nearly full, you'll lose some health.

It essentially discourages and stops people from eating too much and abusing the stat system.

Looks good! Nice simple style and cool idea's on the eating, it reminds me of a game I had for gamecube, Phantasy Star Online something something, you could feed a little robot you had with items and depending on the items stats were raised/lowered. Thought it was a fun mechanic so really liking the idea of seeing something similar here. :)

Pretty far. You can literally do anything you want with barely any restrictions.

However, there is an "invention" system I'm about to implement which will limit your construction to only stuff which you've invented already, but that's about it. Everything else is up to you.
