Hi Guys & Gals,
Our studio is looking for a level designer for our upcoming game Double Barrelled : Blake Killem vs Mars. You can find out more about the game at the following links
IndieDB page - Indiedb.com
Steam Greenlight Concept page - Steamcommunity.com
The game is a 2.5D platformer with more 80's B movie charm than you would care to see in a single title. Double Barrelled is built on the Unity engine.
We've been working on this game for over a year and are now in the process of preparing for our Kickstarter campaign. One of our priorities at this stage is building a short demo level that will be the backdrop to our intro quest. This level will be featured in our pitch video on KS.
Our core team currently consists of eight people. We have two programmers, composer, two sound designers, writer, 3D artist, 2D artist. We also have a few voice actors working with us part-time.
We are looking to expand our core team with a dependable and creative person. It's very important for us that you are willing to do all of the following :
- Be self-sufficient when working on your tasks and approach all work assigned to you with diligence;
- Communicate via Skype at least twice a month for team conference calls;
- Share progress on your tasks with the rest of the team at least a few times a week on our project management site (Basecamp);
- Comment on other members' work and share your ideas on anything and everything game related;
- Create awesome levels to capture player's imagination!
You will be given access to a large variety of props and a few tilesets to help you build the environments, and we are in the position to purchase or create more assets if needed.
Basic proficiency with Unity is a must. We can provide training for the more advanced tools in Unity's toolset in the process.
Thank you for your consideration.
Please PM me or send an email to email@example.com
If you have any previous works to show, regardless of the engine used, please provide a link or include screenshots in your message.
If you have your own concepts for the environments you worked on or planned to work on please include them as well.
