Hi, Monika here! Welcome to the Literature Club! It's always been a dream of mine to make something special out of the things I love. Now that you're a club member, you can help me make that dream come true in this cute game! Every day is full of chit-chat and fun activities with all of my adorable and unique club members: Sayori, the youthful bundle of sunshine who values happiness the most; Natsuki, the deceivingly cute girl who packs an assertive punch; Yuri, the timid and mysterious one who finds comfort in the world of books; ...And, of course, Monika, the leader of the club! That's me! I'm super excited for you to make friends with everyone and help the Literature Club become a more intimate place for all my members. But I can tell already that you're a sweetheart—will you promise to spend the most time with me? ♥ This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed.

This game is very unique. I like the whole concept of a game that tricks you. A cute little visual anime novel turns into a horrifying nightmare very quickly.

I like all the characters. Sayori is my favorite, however her death is sad and scared the crap out of me. Natsuki is another favorite, too. Yuri is alright. And Monika, awesome. Monika definitely caught me off guard with her self-awareness and deleting characters.

I like the idea of having four cute girls convince you join their club, grow attached to you, only for Monika to kill off Sayori by hanging her to make you scared. Then Monika makes Yuri stab herself and she deletes Natsuki and it's Just Monika. Then you delete Monika, reset the game and Sayori becomes vice president. Only for her to become self-aware and try to be with you forever. Then Monika saves the day and she still loves you.

Such a great game 10/10

One problem however. The game is recommend for 13 and above, even though it contains depictions of suicide, depression, anxiety, swearing and gore.
