It's a small adventure game based on the events of the movie "The Day Of The Doctor" for the 50th Anniversary of the franchise. In the art style of Superbrothers.
We are two french artists working on the game : Immudelki & Vicoline I (Immudelki) am more skilled into coding, whereas Vicoline is more on Music. We both make the game design, dialogs, art and animation.
The game is made of minigames, qte, puzzles and dialogs sequences with multiple choices. It's clearly a little game though.
It's based on several scenes that appears in the film, in chronological order. It also contains original dialogs, giving a new perspective on the story (more on a humor vibe), and a few original scenes that never happen but we found interesting to add or to modify. The game being a development of some gaps in the story.
December 2013 : Alpha released
December 2014 : Alpha Fix released
July 2015 : Final Version released !

The final version is now out, you can play the game on newgrounds, as the previous versions!
There's better transitions, many scenes have been added, dialogs have been improved. All the maps graphics have been polished, there's new particles effects, better lighting and so on !
Looking back at all the work, I wouldn't have think this would be that long. Of course this was a idea we get while being at a GameJam, while the movie was being released on the theaters screens at the same time. It was a great challenge, which has its hard times, but, on the overall, it was a great experience, making 'real' pixel art for the first time, making a 'complete' game, trying to work together, fighting with flash limitations...
In the meantime we all finished our studies, got a work in the videogame industry, time passes like a flash, that's for sure. Anyway, when you put all your efforts into something, it always pays, no matter what!

Final '8bit' soundtrack is still being done by the former musician who offers his talents for the game. So the game shall be edited with that new soundtrack in the future (apparently not this year), and then will be able to be released with standalone versions.

Are u using the AGS game engine?
Nope, I'm using flash pro. Sadly AGS always had a big restriction that bugged me : the limited resolution and screen ratio. (I've been struggling alot about that back then).
I thought AGS had option to change res and graphics .
I've played quite a few AGS games with high res+graphics settings.

If so ,i would try and get it from there.
But some of us have net connections that are blocking downloading from sites like that.

Newgrounds offers good services for everything around comments, stats recording and other stuff, that's the idea.
But I might release a standalone version when I will finish the game.
You will probably have to take into account peeps using things like Noscript e.t.c which block most stats links as default.
