Three colour-coded serpent-Gods protect the earth from impending doom as marbles rain down upon us. This GGJ 2012 arcade game was made for use with a "DJ Hero" turntable, but can also be played using the keyboard.

Objective:
The aim is to intercept the falling balls with the appropriate head: using the wrong head will stop the ball, but the snake in question will be stunned temporarily. In addition, the white balls heal the earth, so should not be intercepted at all. Survive as long as you can, try to beat my high-score (1590 so far).

Turntable Controls (requires PS3 turntable + 32-bit Windows):
Select one or more snakes using the coloured buttons and rotate it by spinning the plate.

Keyboard Controls (the rest of us, ie. Linux):
Hold D, F, and/or G to select one or more snakes, then press UP/DOWN or LEFT/RIGHT to rotate it. Don't release the snake-selection button, or the snake will not move!

The team:

  • Loren Costet (Game Design/Art)

  • William "wilbefast" Dyce (Programming)

LWJGL? Why no web-playable version? :)

It's Slick actually, which is built on top of LWJGL ;) The first time either of us programmers used either as it happens: Android and Web version would be great, though I'm not entirely sure how to export to the latter.

Oh, and since you like open-source, here is our git: Github.com
All GGJ games are, after all, required to release their source ;)

edit: Linux version being validated as we speak by the way.
