'Divine Space' is a sci-fi space game in the adventure, quest and ARPG genre.
Its scientific character reveals itself in the game universe which is created in accordance with real data. The stars have their true names and location, colour and parameters. The situation in the game world simulates its probable development in the future, which has become possible thanks to thorough study of modern tendencies and personal contacts with astronomers and futurologists. 'Divine Space' is not only an entertainment but also a useful educational pastime.
The game combines the adventure spirit of such splendid games as 'Star Control' and 'Homeworld', casualness of 'Space Rangers' and 'Dark Orbit', and beauty of 'Eve'. The main purpose of 'Divine Space' creators was to make an interesting game with the beautiful universe and gripping gameplay, easy even for children. All these ideas were completely embodied: the game turned out fascinating, atmospheric, and intelligible. It requires no special skills to play.
The plot is set in well thought-out game world, whose characters have their own personality, background, aims, and desires. The gamer will come across some unprecedented turns of events that will surprise even avid fans of science fiction. An opening, seemingly common for the genre, will lead to a completely unpredictable ending and will give cause for the gamers to contemplate the Universe and our role in it. Everyone will give his own answer concerning the essence of good and evil... and the answers will most likely be absolutely different.
'Divine Space' in its first version is worked out for iPad (including the first ones), and a bit later - for Android tablets. For this reason the productivity of the game has become a matter of equal importance: with its excellent graphics the game works extremely well even on the weakest iPads.
A version for iOS and Android is only a start, further versions are planned for PC, Mac, and probably - Linux. In the remote future - browser plus client MMO version with lots of unusual things which have already been thought up for it, from the joint (clan) construction of space bases to the research and colonization of planets.
The release of the first version for iOS and Android is planned for the first half of autumn 2012.
