Devoquest stands for devastated quest, which you play in an classic rpg, you awaken on an island with a mysterious stranger who tells you that, you have been attacked by assassins but on your way back to get revenge you find out none of this is real. It turns out you have been "trippin" out and none of it's real. You end up finding yourself hacking and slashing at nothing and when you "win" it turns out the mysterious stranger has put you in a wrong game, therefore you get teleported into a High-Definition rpg world, where you must find out what has happened and if this is all real or not.
This part of the game is where you basically start seeing illusions that aren't really there, you could be walking forward and then a flash and your in a cave because you where dreaming and can't tell if it's a dream or reality, in this part there is a skeleton warrior who is alive, you can talk to him and then you have a choice to spare him or kill him, this choice will make it hard for the player if they want to be good or bad, if you spare him for example he will give you gold in his gratitude but if you kill him the villagers will reward you for avenging there fallen comrades.
