Deus Ex Machina in an exploration into a fan remake and modernisation of the original in Unity, redesigning systems and game mechanics to conform to modern iterations of the franchise and the genre as a whole. Not designed to be an exact remake of the original but instead and evolution of it with the intention being at this early stage to produce a reimagined Liberty Island as a portfolio piece.
I've been working on the orchestral soundtrack for Deus Ex Machina, and we decided to share my current progress on the Liberty Island theme!
Currently there is the ambient and the combat theme. That one is not completely finished yet though and there are still things that are bothering me and that will be changed as I continue composing.
I tried to stick closely to the original Liberty Island theme while giving the song some additional depth!
