Detective Scarlet was released a few days ago over at indiegamestand.com, however I wanted to wait for the desura release to make an official release article. If you are interested in picking up the game early, you can do so here Indiegamestand.com and remember the demo is also available right here on the indiedb page. Those who own the game will get free updates.
Chapter 2 will be released sometime this weekend and here is a log of some of the updates we have planned. However if you can wait, which I do urge you so you can play it fully at once, it'll be released on desura in mid July.
- Chapter 2 update
- Fixed graphical bug in day 2 of chapter 1
- Fixed some dialog errors
- Fixed odd blue lines under some trees
I am also announcing our next game titled Lost in Emotions, a story story about a girl dealing with depression from peer pressure and divorce. This game is an interactive story with very little action told from a 1st person point of view with limited 3rd person. It is going to be released on June 28th as part as the RPG Maker contest for this month. You can read more about the contest here Contest.rpgmakerweb.com
Here are some screenshots of the game's art style, similar but also different from Detective Scarlet, with features such as dynamic lighting which shows the objects in the room once you get close to them as well as voice acting. The game will also feature a few outdoor scene's as well which takes place during the winter time. The game will also be free of charge and available as a download here on indiedb.
