3rd Element Studios has been hard at work developing Descension. To go along with changing the title of the game from Descent to Descension, we have also completely revamped our Art Style, Game-Mechanics and overall design from the ground up, with one of our first major projects being a massive facelift to the design of the Volatere, the name of the ship on which our story takes place.
Utilizing collaboration between our Artists and Level Designers, the Volatere, while retaining its unique overall shape, was completely rebuilt and retextured in a meticulous process that left no part untouched. It now looks much more impressive visually and functionally.
Its new design, snippets of our in development music for the game, and some glimpses into the background of the game will all be showcased this coming saturday the 21st of July in our First Trailer for the newly designed Descension. Get excited, cause this is going to be awesome.
