Demon Core is a first-person survival action game, featuring an edgy female protagonist; a scientist forced to take up arms when everything falls apart. Aspects of the game are unique artistic style combining near-future high technology with exotic Russian design and innovative gameplay elements allowing you to: Hide in the shadows and blend in with victims, even pretend to surrender. Take an edge in combat and defeat the enemy by using your wits. Use your own and stolen weapons to set up traps and triggers. Take control of the trap, create your strategy and take out the remaining few enemies while they are disorganised. Perceive the enemy chain of command and see the team dynamics that you can affect by targeting the right man at the right time. Identify distinctive personality of each enemy, defining his behavior in combat. Immerse yourself in the game using Microsoft Kinect or NaturalPoint TrackIR to detect your head movement and reproduce it in-game.

When we set out our first press releases, we were expecting some coverage in Russia, but what happened was something none of us saw coming!

So yeah, all this happened back in December, but it's a story worth telling!

As the summary said, when we first sent out our press releases we were expecting that Russian gaming sites would pick the story up. This initially happened and we were excited, even though everything that was written had to be run through Google Translate and it only gave us a vague impression about what's going on. But when Russian gamers started posting about them being from Kemerovo, we started wondering about what was going on.


Turns out, the local news sources picked up the story and it spread like wildfire throughout the town and next thing you know, the excited populace were very surprised about their town being the location of a game!

Also, we're halfway through our campaign and looks like we're gonna have ourselves a rather steep hill to climb for the rest of the way. Worry not, though, we still have plenty of time and we're doing everything we can with our resources to make this happen!
