//“Delusional” is a movie inspired 2D-Beat-Em-Up-Action-Platformer for PC (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) with a dark and twisted story presented through beautiful anime-style cutscenes. An easy-to-learn-hard-to-master-type of combat combined with tough platforming action over completely handcrafted pixelart-style and a handpicked soundtrack lure you right into the world//
//If movies like Oldboy, Drive and John Wick would have a child with games like Guacamelee, Hotline Miami and Super Meat Boy, the admittedly creepy product of their love would be "Delusional".//

So you have this awesome cartoon aesthetic for cinematics and dialogue, and yet you stick to low-res pixelart for the gameplay itself? Well, that's disappointing, even if understandable.
Hi! Yeah, that's because we really love pixelart and we think games with a (good) pixelart aesthetic still look awesome, even in 2016! Of course we love the anime-style cutscenes as well. We wanted to mix them both together, to create something different than for example "Furious Tom" did. That game looks awesome but we did not want to just copy something like that (especially because the two games have very similar take on violence and gameplay.
