A Mac beta version of our arcade space shooter, Delta Loop, has been released. It requires Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) or later.

You can now try Delta Loop on your Mac! We've released a public beta version for Mac OS X 10.6 or later.


Please keep in mind that this is an unsupported beta version. We're just getting started on Mac development and do not have easy access to the required tools, so we've been unable to test the game thoroughly. Use it at your own risk!


Delta Loop - Trailer Final - Indie DB

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're using Mac OS X 10.8 or later, this beta will require you to give it explicit permission to run, as the GateKeeper system completely blocks unsigned apps by default. If you want to give it a try, please follow these instructions to get it to run on your system:

  • Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy and set "Allow apps downloaded from" to "Anywhere". You can revert this change after running the game at least once. Here's more info on how to do this.
  • Download the Delta Loop Mac beta
  • Open a Terminal window and enter the following commands:
    cd Downloads\
    xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "Delta Loop.app"

This only needs to be done once. The game should start without any warnings or error messages after the first run.
