yey now i can actually play it with someone or should i say something
hello,
i have unzipped in the dday dir the file..
but the bots doesn't load in the game
i have wrote in the console: set alliedbots 6
set axisbots 6
but when i run offline GAME dday1 nothing happen
need help pls :)

Also if you're running a server, there are two settings:
playerminforbots
playermaxforbots
if you set playerminforbots to a number, the bots will load if there are fewer than that number of players on the server
if you set playermaxforbots, the bots will turn off if there are more than that number of players on the server.
also use cmd +set deathmatch 1
or just try this for example
try with :
set playerminforbots 20
set maxclients 100
set axisbots 6
set alliedbots 6
map dday1

i tried to write all the lines at the console..
before run the map and during the map.. in the normal game (where im alore) and at new server, but nothing happen, im alwais alone in the game no bots loaded around..
i have a normal dday downloaded.. no patch, just some new map nothing else.
the directory of bots programs it's inside dday dir where there is dday.exe
these lines must be set before lanch the game? normal gmae or new server? i tried both :\

use exactly this of your quake2.exe is in the same directory. I just tested this and it loads bots on both teams on map dday1
C:\quake2\quake2.exe +set game dday + set deathmatch 1 +set playerminforbots 20 +set maxclients 100 +set axisbots 6 +set alliedbots 6 +map dday1
or just run your dday.exe instead if you have that wherever it is. the use the rest of the commands without the +'s
unfortunalty nothing happen,
when i run D-day launcher.exe in the window parameters i write:
+set game dday
+set deathmatch 1
+set playerminforbots 20
+set maxclients 100
+set axisbots 6
+set alliedbots 6
+map dday1
then it run and no bots loaded, im alone in the map
i also have unzipped the game in other directory.
i have ddayfull.zip taken from ddaydev website. mabye it's not complete
or some patch need
hmmm idk. try it with dday.exe or quake2.exe in your install folder. or go here maybe some can help you there cus idk whats wrong. I download the install from the www.ddaydev.com webpage and its a corrupt file. Try the installer in the download section. hope this helps. feel free to ask more questions if you need more help, but I have no idea whats wrong man.

yes at last i have downloaded here the game and installed it.
mabye i wrong the place where to write that lines:
i must write in the white window dday-launcher.exe before run the game
or at the console and then run the game?
ok, im going to post in ddaydev an help.. but i have seen over there they have a different bots, old ones.

Try at the console of the game if it doesnt work with dday launcher.exe
yeah. this is the new bot download. thats old old bots and they are terrible on ddaydev page the grim dday bot. its not even beta version lol
oh great now the bots load! :D
