Fear, desperation, and organized crime dominate Dawnstar, the lawless sector of the galaxy. A cold war between the major mafias has erupted into a massive battle royal where the ultimate prize is complete control of Dawnstar. As a hot shot pilot, you're hired to help reign in the chaos ravaging the sector. You'll be provided opportunities to transcend the chaos or exploit it and position yourself as the next major Mafioso. However, you quickly learn that there are other forces at play that may have doomed your mission before it even began. Update notes:
- Fixed a bug that prevented some players from progressing through certain levels that required dialogue choices.
- Fixed more sound bugs, primarily enemy-related.
- Added a Mouse Use button to the options that lets the player choose if they want to use their joystick or not, instead of automatically detecting it. This should prevent some players from having problems with specialized keyboards and gaming mice.
- Added strafing. You can know strafe in your ship using A and D (the default buttons).
- Pausing should now work properly in the escape menu.
- Players are now properly prevented from joining games that are already in progress, although they will still show in the join list it should say they are unavailable.
- Added a short delay ton controls when changing levels that helps the player from spinning around while loading. This also changes speed back to zero when changing levels.
- A few other minor quality of life changes.
