Dary's Legend is a graphical hand-drawn, roguelike dungeon crawler game. Help Dary as he embarks on a journey full of perils, monsters, traps and treasures. The game is in alpha so expect frequent updates as we build the dungeon towards the final build. The update is now live and brings some new features, like difficulty levels and a brand new floor.

First of all, I'm sorry this new update took a while longer but I think you'll like the new changes.

There are tons of small fixes and improvements, but I'll talk of the most significative ones.


As usual you can login to desura and it will prompt you to auto-update or you can download the DRM-free installer.

New floor
A new floor was added, with all new design, monsters, stuff to break and music. If you have a save file you should be able to continue. Previous stairs that showed "End of alpha" should now lead to the third floor.

Difficulty levels
When you create a new game you can now choose from "Easy", "Normal" and "Hard". More info on this post.

Hat of the Corrupt Invoker
The Hat of the Corrupt Invoker are artifacts scattered across the whole dungeon, they will grant you extra protection or extra gold find.

Empty chests
This was very requested, from now on, when a chest is empty it will show as opened so you know there's nothing there anymore.

Recipes list on Journal
We added a recipes list on journal so you can check at any time if you have enough ingredients for a particular recipe.

In a few days I'll talk about the new features we are adding for the next update.

Fixed: Resolution below 1280 width would hide money on the Inventory
Fixed: Entities mini icons being behind the entity itself
Fixed: Mana/HP fountains graphical artifacts when using them
Fixed: Visual artifacts with some objects on second floor
