Darkness Inside The Light

Darkness Inside The Light is a game about Horror, survival, and escape. You play as a man, known as experiment #1642, Who wakes up in a containment cell unaware of Who he is, where he is, and why he's there. As you play the game, you will encounter Horrific Experiments and creations. Along with these experiments, you'll find documents that help explain what these things are, who you are, and why you're there. Now, to be clear, this isn't a cheesy Jump scare game. There ARE jumpscares though. However, How scary they really are depends on the player. As I continue making this game, I will release Demo builds whenever I make improvements I Consider to be major. Note that the Storyline is NOT IMPLEMENTED, and will be in the next big update. BIG NOTE: IF YOU DOWNLOAD THE GAME AND DO NOT READ THE "README": YOU MUST PRESS CTRL TO OPEN THE DOORS, NOT ENTER. If more people want this done, I will. This started as just a hobby but now I'm motivated and if you want it, you got it.

So, I've taken a break, I admit.
With so much going on, I stopped development for a few weeks to focus more on trying to wind down from some situations, and took that time to work on music, art, and coding.
Now, my friend recently released a track for the game, and it instantly sparked me again into jumping on the game again. I planned on getting on it a little later, but f**k it, I love the response I get from this game and I love the people giving it a chance, and I need to push even further with this.
I'm trying my hardest to learn new things and give new things a go, and this is what you will find in the next update, which should hopefully be soon, no confirmed date though;
+ Story implemented (I'm serious, this time)
+ A new level (I'm trying to see if it might work this time)
+ More added to the first level (Thanks to story)
+ A new scare or two, possibly
+ Possible NPC's
+ New music
+ Possible introduction video when the game starts up
+ More changes to the Menu and ending
+ A possible load/save state (Serious though, considering the problem with only 2 lives and dying resetting the game, we don't want that.)
+ A Possible video explaining the production of Darkness Inside The Light and the story
+ Small fixes barely anyone would notice

I'm honestly not sure where this next update is going, but I'm very inspired to do it, and I hope you guys will enjoy it.

I've played the 0.0.5 version :D it is great!! Continue with it...i'll recomend you to promote it more...probably in some game's forums... good luck ;D
