History

We're a husband and wife team who played FMV games together back in the 1990s - things like Tex Murphy, Phantasmagoria and Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within. Over the years we've written books, films, tv pilots, murder mysteries and turned some of those into film productions - plus Tim has spent years programming - so it was perhaps inevitable that one day we'd make our own FMV games, starting with The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker in 2017. That game earned a Guinness World Record for having the most FMV in a videogame, stealing the honour from Wing Commander IV. It was also later published to consoles by Wales Interactive (Late Shift, The Bunker) and in 2018 they published our second game, The Shapeshifting Detective, which featured a voiceover cameo from Tex Murphy himself, Chris Jones.

Dark Nights with Poe and Munro is a spin-off of The Shapeshifting Detective and brings back beloved Radio August hosts Poe and Munro in their own supernatural episodic adventures. Players can delve deeper into their relationship, both on and off the airwaves, and encounter more of August, the strange town where reality and fiction collide.
