Lonely Bits Games is happy to announce you that Dangerous Rays early alpha access will be available on April 15th for 16.99$ with a special price of 12.99$ during the first two weeks after the release.
This version will be 100% DRM free and distributed on the game official website.
This early alpha access version is made for players that want to support Dangerous Rays development and should be considered as a Kickstarter alternative. The advantage over Kickstarter is that you can see the game development state before you make the choice to support us or not. The game is far from being finished and if you are not familiar with games early access in general, we recommend you to not buy the game yet and wait for a few more weeks. A lot of features will be added during the weeks after the first version release (build 1), and a lot of them are already in the making.
Here is the content that will be featured in the first build of the game:
- Large procedurally generated countryside world
- Management of hunger, thirst, tiredness, stamina, irradiation...
- Advanced daycycle and weather
- 5 different type of building to visit and loot with several variations for each one
- Special areas (roadblocks, landfills...)
- Zombies and one mutant type called a "Stalker"
- 4 different melee weapons
- 4 different guns with advanced ballistics simulation
- Various interactive items (glowsticks, flashlights, emergency flares, food...)
- Modding support (documentation will be added gradually after the release)
- English and French official translations (a flexible system has been made so the players can make their own translations for the game)
- Various small features and details (tree chopping, campfire building...)
- Various other little goodies
Numerous updates will come after the release to enhance the game like a complete 3D world editor for making new maps and stories, animals to hunt, farming, quests... Expect between two and four updates per months. More information on the future updates will be provided soon.
