Hello, just a quick status update to give you some progress update about Dangerous Rays. Today has been a productive day, i have fixed numerous small bugs and i will spend the next 24 hours to finish the basic zombie AI.
I made the choice to start a new AI / Navigation code from scratch and this is one of reasons why Dangerous Rays release has been postponed.
This new navigation system is more efficient in terms of performance so i will be able to put more active NPC's on the same zone. Since i have not much time till the release don't expect to much from the AI in the first version it will be pretty basic but will be improved later on like every other parts of the game / engine. But i think that the navigation quality will make you happy and that you will see a lot of future potential in it...
