D-RPG is a fantasy RPG being developed for Windows/Android mobile devices. There is still a lot of work to be done on various aspects of the game but the core of it is starting to flesh out. Overtime I will be updating this blog with development progress and an overview of the game systems. Special Thanks: Since starting on this project I've replaced pretty much all of the graphical art and sound assets with the great stuff I've found on OpenGameArt.org. The original XNA codebase has been successfully ported into the MonoGame framework and is functioning in the Windows 8 Phone environment.
Currently the game runs fine in emulation mode and on an old Lumia 810 but work still needs to be done on rescaling some of the graphics for the smaller form factor and also dealing with framerate issues on one of the maps. For the immediate future I plan on completing the game on the Windows platform and then doing a second port to Android.
