Curse of Mermos is a lighthearted hack and slash game with fast paced action and challenging combat. Players wield the Hammer of Horus or shoot the Crossbow of Neith to defeat hordes of monsters in the tomb of Ebo. The game features unlockable abilities and skill upgrades for personalized combat. Special game modifiers allow players to customize each playthrough.

I very enjoyed this game and I thought that it was a very original idea. The only problem I felt is that the controls for the keyboard controls are a little wonky, I mean pressing 1 - 4 or M,N and B for using things such as potions would be alot easier than using awkward controls such as Q. Maybe an ability to change the controls?
Also, the shift to auto aim while you run because it aims at different targets and it is quite difficult to aim at the proper enemy. Other than that a wonderful game.
As a little side note, I would LOVE a multiplayer option later on. This would let me use my friends as bait for the enemies :)
Very nice demo! The visuals are great and the Menu's are very professional. You guys did a lot of work on developing this game and it shows.
I'm hoping there will be mouse control for rotating the character, this way we can avoid hits and use the bow.
