Hey IndieDB!

We already have some idea of what we need to model with our concept work. But we need to go further and we're going to need so much more to create the immersion Curse of Life needs.

In this phase of my work as a 3D Artist, I need to do research of the Egyptian Culture and build up a reference image folder that we're going to use every day when we are modelling. We found it easier by having a private Pinterest Board, where we can organise, and everyone on the team can contribute to this reference album.

Example of Sub-categories:

Now that the list of objects to model is complete and the reference album has many good images, we can now prioritize each category. In this case, the priority for Curse of Life is gameplay > rocks & plants > temple blocks > buildings > big landmarks > props.

In the next 3D modelling Dev Log, we'll shed a light on starting the first models for Curse of Life.
