Find adventure on the high seas with a crew of fun, quirky characters.

Inspired by Animal Crossing, in Critter Cove your uncle, Sea Dog, has retired and left you his old ship. So you have taken up the captain's hat and set sail for adventure. Explore exotic ports of call and discover new island with the help of your quirky crew. Trade, collect, fish, uncover buried treasure, rescue castaways, or just make friends with the local villagers, the choice is yours.

Can I customize my character?

Absolutely. Customize your sex, clothing and hairstyle. You will also be able to buy new outfits and even design your own outfits from special shops in ports. What can I do with my crew members?Your crew members live on your ship with you and have their own unique personalities. Help them with jobs, give them gifts, or just chat them up and make friends with them. You will be glad you did.

How many different crew members can I have?

Every crew member needs their own cabin. You can have as many crew members as you have open cabins. Upgrade your ship to get more cabins.

What activities are there to do in Critter Cove?

Fishing, trapping, bug catching, trading, doing missions for others, decorating, collecting, exploring, treasure hunting, and a whole lot more.

Can I customize my ship?

Yes, both inside and out. You can change your ship's paint job and sail. You can also design her flag. Your cabin can be fully decorated and furnished to however you see fit. Help your crew mates collect things they like and they will customize their cabins as well.

Can I upgrade my ship?

There are shipwrights located in a few select ports which allow you to upgrade your ship. Upgrading your ship increases its speed, storage capacity, and number of cabins.

Are their collections?

When you start, Professor Darwin will be renting a berth in your hull. He is on a mission from the National Museum to catalog and collect all sorts of things: shells, fruits, bugs, fish, relics, and more.

How do I collect items to fill out a collection?

Some items you simple find, others will require more planning. Certain items are only available during particular times of day or seasons. Others need special equipment in order to find. Some will require skill and careful planning in order to capture.

Will Critter Cove have crafting?

Yes. You will be able to learn recipes that can be used to make furniture, ship upgrades, clothing and even trade goods.

What is a port and what can I do there?

A port is a town that contains a mix of different types of shops and includes a trade hub. Not every port will have everything you need or want. Travel to different ports, its worth it.

Who lives in these ports?

Ports are home to villagers who run the local shops. They can be befriended just like crew members. You might be able to even convince some villagers to join your crew and work on your ship.

Can I trade goods between ports?

Different ports have different trade goods that they wish to by and sell. Buy low and sell high is a good way to make extra doubloons.

How do I explore new islands?

When you start the game a small portion of the world map will be unlocked. It is up to you to set sail into the uncharted waters and discover the unknown.

What will I find on these unexplored islands?

Each island is unique to your own world and you never know what you might find. Buried treasure, island natives, castaways, rare collection items; just to name a few.

What types of events will there be?

The critters of Critter Cove celebrate lots of different holidays so expect to see their signs during the right time of the season. But also keep a watch on the local town crier to get the news of the day. You never know what might be happening around the world.

Ye I like the general feel and setting of the tropics/sailing. I was thinking after No Time of continuing the work on it. Making it smaller and finished.

You could be switching to Gamejolt. It may give you a higher chance for an active following.
