Contagion isn't your average Zombie Shooter but instead takes a more realistic and different approach to the popular genre with unique characters, environments, weapons, items, and a built in system that makes every round completely unpredictable with resources, objectives, and paths ever changing. From the creator of Zombie Panic: Source Brian "Tatsur0" Comer we introduce it's spiritual successor.
With plenty of compliments on our 2012 Alpha game-play trailer we felt we needed to put up something a bit more recent and so here is a Teaser Trailer. Remember to check back on September, Friday the 13th for our Official Contagion Full Game-Play Trailer that will show players what they're really getting out of the game by sharing features, game-modes, characters, maps, and loads more!
So even people kill each other?
Looks sweet. Is this really source engine? It looks... kinda better than source engine.
This is indeed Source but we gutted quite a bit to build our own system we're confident players will appreciate. Quite a lot isn't shown in this teaser unfortunately but answers are coming :D
sadly parts feel like a mix of counter strike, NMRIN and Left 4 Dead, the locations are not as rich and vibrant as they looked in the concepts for me. And the gameplay looks fast which is what we have seen before.
All very flattering comparisons. But again, you're seeing a teaser which is short lived and meant to grab some attention for the date listed. We almost certain you'll feel differently when we release our full trailer. I can only hope that will be the case as the game plays and feels nothing like the games you've listed.
The Gore looks fantastic!
Is there some possibility to use melee attacks? Seems when you have a zombie on you you're harmless :/ Anyway nice ambiance and work with lighting and animations! Would be cool to see more exterior level design too :)
We very much look forward to sharing with you our Melee system in the near future.
Amazing stuff!
This looks really good for being a beta.
This could easily be the Antithesis to No More Room in Hell, and in a good way I might add. No More Room in Hell is intentionally slow, brutal and doesn't have amazingly responsive controls.
looking good! :)
Sweet, looks a bit faster paced than NMRIH, but a bit slower than L4D.
