Hello everyone, we are nearing EA release, its right around the corner. Hopefully you all have next Friday relatively free for Contagion: Outbreak! Next week we will be hosting AMAs (Ask me anything) on our reddit ALL week until EA release!
Starting June 25th through the 28th. When you post your questions we will try to get to your questions in an orderly fashion. You will get an answer even if delayed by a few hours. The Devs will be hard at work this week and next, so please be patient while we answer all questions we can. Each day we will be hosted in a different subreddit, all links will be provided in our own subreddit.
Our first AMA will be on Monday, June 25th 09:00 AM PST/12:00 PM EST on subreddit for 1 hour so be sure to get your questions in at that time.
Post EA, we’d also recommend you post any bugs, glitches, feature requests on the discord. We also love to see fan art/music/fiction. So please don’t be afraid to to say hi!
With all that said, the Demo has been updated and is in beta build, so undust your VR headset and give it a go! How do you get the latest demo build? Well make sure to go to your library on steam, right click on Contagion: Outbreak Demo, hit properties and go into beta. The beta code (pardon our french) is: n00bfuckingz0mbi3s
What's new since the old demo?
- Firearm system has been redone
- New zombie archetypes in the full game with more coming, 2 added to the demo
- Menu/settings accessible through wrist watch
- Voice overs have been replaced with pro Voice Actors/Actresses
- Ai has been rebuilt from scratch
- Scripting system has been redone from scratch
- Full production slice of apartment is explorable
- Entire backpack system has been redone
- All melee being reworked, completely redone from scratch
- Utilizing Wwise for Audio
