Update 30- Conscript Revival news

We are continuing the game by improving on our quake 1 mod build for the PC, using the very versatile FTEQW engine. One team, one engine, on one platform. Currently there are 3 of us working on the project actively: Marmalandolakes, Phone, and Myself.

Gameplay is fast paced and more quake-like, with separate "episodes" featuring different playable Conscripts in various locations during the resistance uprising- in an alternate half-life 2 beta universe.

We've been updating all of our models and animations to the latest versions in .IQM format- with high-res textures, higher poly models and smoother animations-at a smaller file size!

I do have plans to release our latest version of our PSP build in the near future, with a few small updates. Besides this, the psp build will no longer be a main focus.

Some of the new content we've been working on:

-Around 12+ new wip NPCs in-game (including the bullsquid, prowler, antlion, combine units, and more!)

-3 new weapons (Displacer, Immolator, hand grenade)

-Various weapon tweaking (fire rates, ammo capacities, fixes, etc.)

-New models and animations, including conscripts, citizen, gibs, trench cops, and elite heavy units!

Big shoutout to Marmalandolakes and Phone for making the great content in this update! I picked up on QuakeC (and mapping again) a few months ago and was able to continue coding from the original quake mod it started from. Also special mention for my friend Rosealous for working on our CSQC Hud!
