Colorblind is a game about a small square clicking on larger squares. Sometimes the squares are moving, sometimes the squares will send you back to an earlier point, sometimes they might even be your father.
The gameplay is simple, click on areas that are a different color. However, sometimes the first square you see isn't the one to click on. Some areas will have questions, asking you to click on a specific color (hence the name). But that isn't all!
Currently, the game is unfinished, however, I do have some ideas about what I can put into it, such and a deeper storyline involving an evil circle, a maze where one wrong step will get you killed, and more stuff I haven't even thought of yet.
The game is coded from scratch in Java, so you will need to download this if it doesn't work on your computer: Oracle.com
Also, this game will not appear or work properly if you do not have your screen resolution set to 1920X1080. Apologies for any inconveniences, but I don't yet know how to fix this.
Additionally, there is no in game sound, because that would require the user to also download the sound link and place it in a specific file on their computer. Currently, there exists no code in the program to pull the sound file from the user's computer, but code allowing that would also allow users to put their own sound files in the background of the game. This is not yet the case, but if I decide to add it, I will also add instructions on where to put the file.
As a side note, and totally not a shameless self-promotion, I will try to post updates on my YouTube channel when I can: Youtube.com
It should contain about twenty screens, double what is currently available in the current demo. It also contains changes to screens that are in the current demo, which you can feel free to compare the two. Also, let me know what you would like to see, and if you like the changes I have made. Screen 12 is based on a suggestion from a friend who played the demo, so I'd love to hear your suggestions as well.
I will also attempt to add in more story elements and different mechanics, or styles, such as a maze section, although will most likely appear later in the game.

The Colorblind Demo, version 2. I added about twice as many screens, and edited some of the originals to be even better.
Colorblind is a not-yet-complete, minimalistic point and click game coded from scratch in Java.
