Description

Coin Quest is a brand new, fiendishly challenging game of skill from Team Twist, a re-imagining of classic arcade-style games. It's a sort of hybrid of Skee-Ball and Tiddlywinks, brought into the modern age via mobile. The player gets a coin, and their goal is to flick it at targets and into holes in a variety of exciting, thematically designed levels. We really wanted to push that tricky, skill-based gameplay of those older genres whilst still being very accessible to modern audiences. Because of this, Coin Quest is incredibly easy to pick up and play, but it'll take a while to really master it!

History

Team Twist are a newly formed indie studio in the UK. We are just coming to the end of a year in an incubator studio set up by the University for the Creative Arts, from which we graduated the year prior.

Coin Quest actually started life as a minigame in our final major project in our third year of University. After a couple of months in the incubator studio we realised our initial plan, to fully develop our third year game, was too ambitious for the time we had. We had previously noticed how popular Coin Quest (in it's minigame form, then known as Tiddlywinks) had been at the degree show and other exhibitions, so we decided to expand upon it and make it a standalone title for mobile.

About Team Twist

Boilerplate
Team Twist are a group of five recent graduates from the UK developing indie games for PC and Mobile. They are based in the incubator studio set up by the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham.
