CloneOBL is a new created project to reawken the charme that games like Skyrim and Oblivion had/have.

Using a modern up to date engine, Unreal Engine 4, while also including alot of new ideas for gameplay and controls.

The current goal is to create v0.01 which will be a small dungeon quest with alot of the Oblivion mechanics cloned.

Please fixiate also on my fundraiser so i can get a new PC to continue creating.

CloneOBL - Update 1

Hello again,

I would like to introduce you to an update for this game.

Today i got:

- Updated Light effects
- implementation: Arms/Hands
- Implementation: Weapons
- Implementation: Misc/Light items
- Implementation: NPCs

As many bugfixes and new minor imporvements.
Also in this Video i show a more look into how i build caves.

I am currently working on a list with upcoming features, also a roadmap.

The next things i want to get in are fighting mechanics and save/load systems.
Also i want to get the switching between levels working.

This definitely looks really good! I'm a huge fan of the charm of gameplay that not many other games try to emulate.

Are you planning on implementing their RPG mechanics or something more traditional like XP systems?

I hope you can get a running computer soon!

I cannot implement everything they did in Oblivion, mostly because their engine is specificly build for datadriven reference based gameworlds.

But i am a ultra hardcore oblivion fan (still replaying) so i want to make every feature and every little tid bit to look/feel like oblivion.

I have to take things from skyrim tho too, as skyrim simply did some things better.

I dont want to get into detail more.
