I'm in the beta and i can tell you that there is already 32 player servers. I've even seen some 64 (but they weren't full and seems to crash rapidly).
now we just need VR

Stugs, first of it is 32 players if that wasnt a typo and then they will surely try to expand as much as possible, but as for now their servers and machines cant handle over 32 players =) But they will surely try as said !
sorry typo, 32. I mean its the Unreal Engine, it should be able to at least handle 48 players in a server. Could you imagine the awesome chaos that would ensue!

AoC was a fun mod and Chivalry just takes that and seems to boost the experience well beyond expectations. Fantastic work guys, look forward to playing.

I certainly like what became of that good ol mod.
However, what is the point of the preorder? I see no advantage in it. (unless you pick the 50$ preorder, but that is ridiculous.)
Trying to get 20$ (50-30) from ppl just for the beta-access doesn't seem right. Other games normaly already give you beta-access for a regular preorder.
TBH, that mindset might even convince me not to buy it at all. Haven't decided yet.
On the same boat here, 20$ extra for beta access is quite ridiculous. Beta access isn't even a perk or privilege of value for that matter
Glad I Pre-ordered, only thing is that the game is called Chivalry Pre-Order. The Name of the game will change when it's out yeah?
