Sexy, some of the wrinkles seem a little overboard though and contradict each other

yeah there is actually an error with the smoothing groups on the face but shhh don't tell anyone :)

Also that texture needs to be fixed for the chain mail. But just didn't have enough time before the announcement!

Looks like he's wearing stale pita bread. That's no good in battle, but at least it'll sound cool. And is that chainmail on his arms? Didn't know chainmail could wrinkle like that?

Nice work on the high resolution texturing and modelling :)

I dunno, it's not like they had irons to iron their uniforms at that time.
I think while it does look very wrinkly, we're too suited to seeing pressed uniforms and so on.
I think this uniform looks very worn and weathered, like this soldier has bled, sweated, and slept in this uniform.
The chainmail thing shouldn't be very hard to fix, so that's forgiven, a deadline is a deadline.

If there was one thing I could suggest for the uniform, it would be to add very subtle seam breakage, or cloth freying to give it a more used look.

Something that also should be noted is the level design itself, I think it's great, it's very detailed. I just hope that if the arena there is to be fought in, that there would be some sort of a crowd there.
I know it's hard to try and do that without using up lots of resources, especially for a large arena, but if you do it right, it would do wonders for any battles held in the arena, especially if the crowd reacted to kills and such, like having the crowd stand and applaud when someone was killed.
It's probably not necessary, but in my opinion that would be a really nice touch to improve immersion.
