Description

Developed by a two-men team, Chico is not a game in the way you are used to, even if you will be able to loot and craft; it is something we can call a screensaver customizer ( what you craft in the game is what you get in the screen saver )... and if you don't like to customize at all, you can still let Chico do it for you thanks to the new AI system. Our hero ( who’s named Chico ) finds himself alone on the peak of a mountain in the middle of nowhere ( somewhere in the far west ); he can only get resources to create tools or buildings which might be useless during gameplay, but for sure will make his own life better, giving him a lot of different things to do in his free time. For example, crafting a fireplace will give our hero the opportunity to take some rest by the fire while the screensaver is running ( he may also start cooking or playing the banjo ). Our plan is to support the game with constant updates and release new tools and buildings in a monthly basis.

History

Hello, we are a small independent Italian team, passionate about the world of video game development.

We grew up when video games were still stored on cassette tapes, and we run what were the most beautiful games we could imagine for ourselves… with a screwdriver!

Now that everything has evolved, we decided to start this adventure and to show our ideas, mixing the new technology with our very first experiences.

That’s where the idea of this team, sharing the same gaming passion, came from.

Pierluigi Zomparelli, the oldest guy of the team.

I’ve always had a passion for computers since I was the happy owner of a Commodore VIC-20; after graduated in Computer Science I finally started working as game developer.

Luca Quartero, born in 1974, I grew up with bread and commodore 64.

I enjoy 3D modeling and the look of games, I’m a very imaginative person but not very diligent.

Even today, as far as I have learned, I still feel like a child who has a world ahead of him to discover.
