In order to understand the war, first you must understand what lead to it, and that begins with one thing: The Tears and how they changed the world. Nobody could have predicted what would happen when we discovered the ark of our ancestors deep inside the mountain. It completely changed everything we thought we knew about ourselves and the world. What exactly happened inside of it and with the team of archaeologists remains a mystery even today. The only thing that matters is that the ark became active bringing the night of the one thousand tears. The chaos and destruction it unleashed changed the whole geographical and geopolitical map of our world. However, for all the pain it brought, it also launched a new era of peace and cooperation between nations with also unparalleled scientific and technological progress. Sadly, nothing lasts forever.
