(UPDATE: Celestiquest is on a development hold. No more work will be done on it in the near future.) 'Celestiquest' is a single-player, 3D open world space exploration game. The player is on a mission to explore and extract resources from a newly discovered planetary system, and must fight to protect territory. "Explore a large space environment, searching for minerals and space rocks. With no maps to help you, only memory and navigation skills can complete your mission." The game is fairly early in the development stage, and thus many details have yet to be worked out. The game WILL be uploaded to itch-io and GameJolt. I am the solo developer of this project.

In my game, the player will have to fly to different planets in the games extensive 3D universe. On each planet, utilities can be constructed. There will be a Storage Chest, Ore Miner, Shelter, and Defensive Turret to shoot aliens when they invade. These various structures will be upgradeable.

Hello IndieDB! This article showcases some of the utility structures in my WIP game, Celestiquest.

In my game, the player will have to fly to different planets in the games extensive 3D universe. On each planet, utilities can be constructed. There will be a Storage Chest, Ore Miner, Shelter, and Defensive Turret to shoot aliens when they invade. These various structures will be upgradeable.

This GIF showcases the use of the Ore Miner and Defensive Turret. Keep in mind that these items are a work in progress and this is only a short window on Celestiquest.
