The team behind Celestial Impact have been working hard with other tasks lately but now we've finally managed to finish a new beta version. A new public beta version of Celestial Impact is now available for download with these major new features:
- Rewritten renderer, vast improvement on performance
- Linux and FreeBSD support for dedicated servers
- The highly demanded level editor "forge"
- New Team player-model
- A melee weapon added to the weapon arsenal
- Official servers in the US

hmm.. I will download this new version but hopefully someone is actually ON it. The other versions have all been dead online, and thats the only way to play.
The curse of most online games. Activity is created by people playing the game, but people are not playing since there is little to no activity.
Gather up some friends to play on a server and you'll make other people join in for sure.
No official server in Sweden? :(
Anyways great thing that you have released a map editor now! I'll check it out later. I remember the epic things I built by hand (by dirt gun). Time consuming but really fun :)
Actually, the 4 official EU servers are all stationed in Sweden

I'm getting an error as soon as the renderer starts:
glGetError END CreateDepthStencil: GL_INVALID_ENUM
