PATCH NOTES

An alpha patch for Cash_Out has been released! This patch mainly focuses on new modding and AI mechanics, with smaller additions and balance thrown in.

AI CHANGES

There are two changes to how AI works, one is very small where one is very big.
The big change is leadership mechanics. Previously, AI was put into a squad where enemies would work together. Well, I mean they should have. I removed this because it was causing major slowdown. I've changed the way this works. Enemies are now placed into a squad, directed by a leader enemy.


The red enemy is the leader enemy. Leader enemies have more health than normal enemies, and when they spot you, they will call all squad members to you. Pressing TAB highlights enemies now, and red enemies are the leader.
I've changed enemy melee mechanics very slightly, they need to now actually aim for you. It's very wonky and more work will be done on it.

MODDING CHANGES

I've changed a little bit with modding this time.

One of the bigger changes is how mods are loaded. Previously, mods were loaded through a text file. I felt this wasn't drag and drop friendly, so it now loads through separate text files placed in the folder. See the two examples included for more information.
I've also slightly changed the way commands work. I've changed a couple of them around, but the big addition is target commands. Previously you couldn't target specific entities. I've changed that though, When using a command_target command, the third number represents the if command that the targets must reach. Check the pow block command for more information.

CLOTHING CHANGES

I've added a new clothing set, changed up some, and changed the way clothing works in quick play.
The clothing set I added is called "Procurer's", it is a melee focused set.


Procurer's Coat -> Increases minicrit damage.
Procurer's Pants -> Melee damage heals the player

The following clothing sets have changed:
Prison Pants -> Picking up loot items now heals you based on the value.
Army Top -> Now increases the factor in which "sighting" (aiming by keeping the mouse cursor closer) reduces your spread.
Dress Pants -> Now increases the speed you move when crouching.

Previously, when picking up clothing in quickplay, it wouldn't do anything. I've changed that though, it now equips the clothing. This only works in quickplay though, the way clothing works in career mode prevents this from working, I'll try and get it to work but there's no guarantees.

WEAPONS

I've added a new special weapon, the scout rifle. This rifle does increased stealth damage, and more damage to leaders, while doing less damage to normal enemies.


Along with that, you can now carry two weapons! Pressing R will switch between weapons!
