A business simulation game all about cars. Build your own cars and change their design in the semi-free, integrated 3D Editor. Develop engines and stray from the concept of strict tech levels seen in other games: Your car consumes too much fuel? Why not improve your next engine's fuel efficiency. You car is too slow? Why not develop a more powerful engine? And if your car is the most advanced on the market it may even earn you some awards. Can you turn a profit with your car company? This game is available in a fully playable alpha version (not yet feature complete.)

Cars Incorporated is an independent tycoon game under development since 2010. Since the first publicly available alpha version in late 2011 more than a dozen updates have been released and continue to improve the game bit by bit.
Today, the very first YouTube trailer has been released for the game, also including the first footage from the new body editor for v0.30.

Current Development

Cars Incorporated is in active development and despite a failing Indiegogo campaign will continue to be. You can help by spreading the word. Or the trailer. Or the homepage address. Or anything else you like about the game.

Currently I am working on a revamp of the car body editor for the next big update v0.30 which I expect to be ready for release some time in September. The trailer has some first images of that new editor but here's a clearer one for you to take a look. This is a very current screenshot already showing the redone shaders at work. Believe me: This looks much better than before ;-)

v0.30 will also include a revamp and expansion of the research features, the base simulation handling the sales and the AI. In addition to that v0.30 will introduce smaller parts you can research and add to your cars... you know, things like mirrors and headlights.

You can help speed things up by spreading the word and of course by pre-ordering so I can spend more time developing and less time working for money otherwise.
