This might sound dumb, but I can't figure out how to run. What key is used for running? It says shift, but shift is not working.
At the beginning of the game, a message says how to change the controls or the game will not work. To run, you need to change the key corresponding to Shift for "B". Here, "B" is the control for the run action ingame. Press F1 and choose the "Keyboard" category to do that.
You can find the controls needed in the "README" document in the file of the game.

You can play it on full screen mode pressing Alt + Enter, but I don't know if you can record it by this way.
