Hi guys. This project has been put on hiatus because Stopher and I are students and we do not have a ton of time to work on this sort of thing. But now that its summer, we intend to finish what we started. Here's an update on what I've done to begin to work on and what I plan to do.
Currently, the menu can be navigated at a minimum. Bells and whistles will be added.
Working on the character select screen currently, once that is completed, we will create the dungeon crawling engine and battle engine all in tandem with the first dungeon. After that is completed, we will already have the engines, so it is just a matter of implementation of new characters, rooms, and items.
OUR GOALS:
6 Playable dungeons
Various playable minigames in the main menu
A minimum of 3 playable characters and if we have time the addition of unlockable characters.
Achievements!
A soundtrack full of NG favorites.
All for free, we will claim no ownership to work that is not ours and credit all sources.
