Bungle in the Jungle is a team death-match, first person shooter set in South America during the Spanish invasion. Players are split into teams and will take control of a “class” or “character” and work together in the effort to complete their objectives. The game is not historically accurate by any measure and many of the characters are made with a light-hearted sense of humour in mind.

We have used a comic based art style with highly saturated colours and black outlining. The style was highly influenced from Monkey Island, Team Fortress 2 and Borderlands.

The attacking team must capture the objectives by hitting them with their melee weapon. The defenders must prevent this for the duration of the rounds time frame.

Each team has it's own unique classes and all classes have their own individual weapons and abilities. Each class has its' own specific (yet flexible) purpose. An effort was made to ensure players worked together and so several classes have abilities that will complement nearby comrades. All classes also have their own voice recordings and lines which were developed in order to help build that characters personality.

The classes are

Spanish Aztec

Inquisitor Shaman
Powder Monkey Warrior
Cannoneer Birdman
Monk Panther Warrior
Sharpshooter Catapulter

We will be uploading the game within the next month or so.
