Description
"Grow your way to the top to become the king/queen of the crop!" Bud Blitz is a fast-paced cannabis-themed action/arcade game with a splash of simulation. Grow as much cannabis as you can while defending your crops from enemies by using a variety of outrageous weapons! Maintain optimal light and water levels to prevent stressing your plants and be sure to keep your mind on your money because if you run out, your growing days will go up in smoke!
History
After a game dev hiatus I decided I wanted to come back and make something fun. I feel that Bud Blitz offers a fresh take on cannabis growing games, which are predominantly mobile simulation games requiring the player to check back after x hours or spend money to speed up the grow process. Bud Blitz has a distinct arcade feel (complete with NBA Jam'esque voiceovers), a humorous execution, and a fine-tuned difficulty pacing that allows the player to get comfortable with the mechanics before facing the inevitable onslaught of enemies trying to thwart their growing attempts. It makes me laugh and I hope you'll enjoy it as well!
