My mission:

I want to create a game that blends multiple of my favorite games and genres into something really fun and enjoyable to compete with someone, where you can play as a team against a team of your other friends. A fun party game, still keeping it casual to get in a quick game here or there, but still has enough depth to keep you playing until you get better, just like the old arcade games of yore.

A game that's based on player skill, with a little luck and chaos thrown in. A Game where the chaos has to be embraced, to be beaten.

A game, where sometimes, you walk away going "What the fuck just happened there? Did I win?", and feel good about it either way.


I'm working on a list of the milestone goals and the eventual project goals of the game.
Rough milestones:

  • Different paddle "fighter" types
  • Different ball types
  • Various powerups and powerdowns
  • Charge bars
  • Unique "Ultimate" abilities to unleash on your opponent
  • 4 player versus mode
  • Network playability
  • and much, much more

V.3.0 Released

I updated the graphics of all of the elements of the game to it looks less slap-dash, and more towards the final version.

I greatly improved the spawning algorithm for the powerups to behave similarly to a deck of cards, so there's 7 powerups, randomly distributed, per deck, and then the deck gets re-shuffled when it gets to the end.

Alternated the powerup spawns as well so one player wasn't hogging all the powerups.Fixed paddles having escape velocity from the board.Other minor bugs fixed.

Heya man, thanks :) I'm still working on it in the spare moments I have. I think the next round is going to be plasma attacks against the other player ;)
